WE ARE CØMPAKT.

CØMPAKT brings together Mitch Proctor Dickinson from Koguchi Press and Laura Proctor Dickinson from Local Honey Local Honey into one creative studio working with publication, live event, design and product.

A note from us

One of the big things that drew us to each other back in 2024 was each having our own creative interests and pursuits. Mitch with Koguchi Press and Laura with Local Honey Local Honey.

We thought these would largely stay separate and we would jump in to help each other at crunch points… However what we quickly found is that we would end up helping each other with everything because together we had the most fun and make the best team. What this did mean though, was that our workload doubled and crunch points intensified beyond what was sustainable. Meanwhile the lines between our brands blurred and we came up with more and more roads that we wanted to pursue creatively. So we started to look for a way to bring everything together and streamline our world into something more sustainable.

Fast forward to 2026! We have just got married! (WHOOOP!) and are now launching CØMPAKT our new creative studio! It’s still full of all the existing amazing things that make Koguchi Press Koguchi Press (all comics will still remain under the koguchi sub-brand) and Local Honey Local Honey but there will also be new things! New directions! and of course our new studio name CØMPAKT! So watch this space! We can’t wait to share all we have planned!
